Brian Jacks is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with well over 25 years of experience. He started a 20-year banking career with Wells Fargo in 1990 as a Teller in high school. After graduating in 1995 with a business degree from California State University, Sacramento, Jacks launched a $1 billion lending career in commercial mortgage underwriting and became a licensed California real estate broker in 1996. Ten years later, Jacks was tapped to lead back office production and junior lender training for West Coast operations with an annual volume totaling $2.5 billion. In 2008, Jacks transitioned to a corporate role tasked with enhancing bank-wide cross-sell opportunities by overseeing the data mining process for over 20 Wells Fargo commercial businesses, representing more than $4 billion in annual revenue. The simplest way to sum up Jay’s business life is he hasn’t been in a real-world 3-ring circus. He bought his first business, a funeral home, at age 23. Since then Jay has owned a car dealership, an antiques business, an LED lighting distributorship, and a technology consulting business. He has also acted as National Sales Manager for a text marketing company and VP/Sales Director for a business solutions company. Jay frequently sees business trends before they become a trend. He started doing internet marketing in 1994 before most people could spell internet. In 1998, he developed what many believe was the first website in the world where customers could build their own car before buying it. He got involved with text marketing in 2014. Jay’s main goal in business is to help people understand, utilize, and benefit from new and emerging technologies, many of which can be sourced through Agora Advantage. Jay And his wife, Lorraine, live in downtown Lancaster PA in a warehouse they converted into living space. He writes, cooks, enjoys woodturning and carving, motorcycles (riding for 56 years), sports cars (former ProRally driver), grandkids, and living in a vibrant small city.
